This year Jeveka brings you a Christmas story. It begins in this modest little house.
Dad is at a loss, this years budget is especially tight. What can he get Boris for Christmas?
The next morning Boris opens his present. It is a box filled with screws, nuts, washers and other items.
‘What’s this?’ he asks.
‘That is a screw, son, you can connect anything to anything with it.’
Dad grabs two little boards and connects them with a screw and a nut.
‘Look, a drawbridge.’
20 years have passed. Boris did his best at school and now works as an engineer in China.
At Christmas he is alone at a restaurant when he receives a message from mum. ‘Look what I found:’
‘Your box with screws!’
Another message comes in:
‘Can you come home for the holidays? Dad has the flue. We both miss you.’
Boris takes a plane to return home. He has not seen his parents for so long!
Dad feels better the instant Boris comes home.
‘Good to have you here, and thank you for your support from abroad.’
‘If you had not given me this box filled with screws I might not have come this far.’
‘We are proud of you, son.’
