Michel van Nieuwenhuizen explains automated production.
Jeveka has purchased a robotic computer numerical control (CNC) machine to meet the rapidly increasing demand for fasteners. In recent years, we have kept investing in machinery and this acquisition is a logical step in our development.
The new machine can produce items on its own, day and night. This means that our production staff and the other machines can once again be used to manufacture small series and prototype products, which is something they are good at. With this robotic CNC machine, our production capacity for vacuum products (Jeclin) has more than doubled, which has led to improved availability and shorter lead times for new orders. We can now also deliver orders for series of more than 5,000 items faster.
With this expansion of the production department, we are able to improve our delivery reliability and offer shorter delivery times.
The Jeveka workforce is fascinated by this robotic CNC machine.
